It is an unfortunate fact of life that accidental damage to pallet racking and shelving in the course of working operations can and does happen. If you are unaware that damage has occurred and if damaged components are not swiftly repaired, the consequences can be considerable - for your business, or worse still, for your staff.

It is recommended that racking be inspected bi-annually, although there are a number of factors which you should consider before deciding on the frequency of your inspections, such as the number of pallet movements; the type of materials being stored; the racking installation environment; the frequency and type of installation audits carried out internally.
